Last year, I photographed a family of three kids. When I turned my attention to their youngest daughter… really focused on HER… this normally shy little girl became curious, playful, and absolutely radiant. Her personality just bloomed, even with her siblings right there.

HI! I’m Emily, a documentary family photographer in Grand Island. On Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, and I’m offering Personality Portrait Mini Sessions that capture each of your children’s unique personalities in timeless black and white portraits.
These aren’t traditional “say cheese” photos. They are sessions designed to celebrate what makes each of your children individually special… their genuine expressions, their authentic personalities, all the little quirks that make them uniquely them.

Do you melt when one child gives you that thoughtful stare while another can’t stop giggling? 💭😄
During your 15-minute session, I photograph each of your children individually (yes, siblings are there, but my camera focuses on one child at a time). I’ll also grab at least one shot of all your kids together, but the heart of these sessions is celebrating each child’s individual spark.
Your daughter might reveal her confident sparkle. Your son might show that perfectly timed dry humor. Your youngest might flash that gap-toothed grin that’s equal parts sweet and sassy.

How I Pull Out Their Personality
Before your session, I send a questionnaire asking about each child… their interests, their quirks, what makes them light up. This helps me know exactly what to talk about during our time together.
Props are your secret weapon! Encourage your kids to bring:

💫 Whatever makes them THEM
