  • Do you use professional equipment?

Yes, I will have a professional camera set up for the interview. I also use professional lighting, audio and editing equipment and software.

  • Do we hear you asking the questions in the video?

No. The goal is to create a personal video for your family only, so my voice and questions are edited out entirely.

  • What kinds of questions do you ask?

I have a list of over 100 thought-provoking questions that span various stages of life, from childhood to parenting and marriage. These questions are designed to authentically capture the essence of your loved one’s journey. During the interview process, I often come up with follow-up questions that are tailored to the individual’s responses, ensuring a truly personalized experience. In our pre-interview meeting, we will have the opportunity to discuss your family’s unique narrative and determine which string of questions will best showcase the depth and richness of your story. This collaborative approach allows us to create a film that is both meaningful and reflective of your family’s journey.

  • Can I include old family photos or videos in my legacy video?

Absolutely! Incorporating old family photos or videos can add depth and richness to your legacy video. I encourage you to gather any relevant photos or videos that you would like to include in the video, and I will work with you to seamlessly integrate them into the final product.

  • What if I don't want you to share something I’ve said on the internet for others to see?

Your video is for your family, and nothing recorded would ever be shared online for others to see without complete approval from all parties involved. Even if you say something that you wouldn’t want in your video all together, this should be looked at as a shared process. You can look at yourself as the co-producer to your own video.

  • Do I travel to your studio?

I come to you! My equipment gets packed up and travels to where you get to feel the most comfortable, your home.

  • How long does the video production process take?

The timeline for video production can vary depending on the complexity of the project and the availability of the individuals involved. Typically, the process involves pre-production planning, filming, editing, and finalizing the video. I will provide you with an estimated timeline based on your specific project during our initial consultation.
